 Purpose: Ezkote D is a chemically reactive form release in a virgin oil carrier. Ezkote D contains an organic "fatty acid" which reacts with the alkali in the concrete to form a barrier film that inhibits the bonding of fresh concrete to the formwork. Ezkote D, when properly applied, will provide a quick, easy and clean release of concrete from formwork. Ezkote D will not transfer to formwork and will leave concrete free of foids and defects. Ezkote D will not inhibit the adhesion properties of subsequent coats to concrete substrate.
