The following photos are of a project in Denver, CO where a major section of Interstate 70 is being placed underground as an aging elevated section is set to be removed. Precast sound wall panels are being placed over epoxy coated rebar protruding from the foundation. After setting, grout is pumped through the grout ports until it reaches the vent on the top. The grout selected here was US SPEC RA Grout. This grout was selected for its high fluidity, long open times and design strengths. The grout is being mixed and pumped through a colloidal grout mixer/pump.
