The following photos are of a project in Denver, CO where a major section of Interstate 70 is being placed underground as an aging elevated section is set to be removed. Precast sound wall panels are being placed over epoxy coated rebar protruding from the foundation. The panels have voids placed in them to allow them to be placed over vertical epoxy coated rebar. RA Grout was used to fill the voids between the bar and panel. The grout was pumped from the bottom to the top ensuring there were no air voids. The grout also offered another layer of protection to keep the steel from corroding.
