This picture is a specimen of US SPEC Transpatch being tested for Scaling Resistance of Concrete Surfaces Exposed to Deicing Chemicals, ASTM C672.  This test method is specified in ASTM C928 to determine the calculated resistance value of a concrete surface exposed to deicing chemicals in freezing and thawing cycles.  Since this is US SPEC Transpatch, a repair mortar, ASTM C928 specifies a max loss of 1 lb/ft² over 25 cycles.  The testing is at 25 cycles, and you can see there is no loss or scaling taking place.
